Career
Experience with an integrated view
I am a civil engineer, hold a master’s degree in Environmental Engineering, and am an attorney. For more than 27 years I have led and coordinated projects in regulatory compliance, environmental impact and risk, auditing, bringing industrial operations into compliance, and proceedings before agencies.
Since 2008 I have led projects as Managing Director of IRCA Consultores. I have coordinated work for more than 100 key clients in sectors including automotive, steel, foundry, glass, ceramics, energy, mining, infrastructure, construction, and aquaculture.
Over the course of my practice I have led environmental compliance strategies on major works at all three levels of government and on infrastructure developments across different regions of Mexico, including island zones and protected natural areas. My practice combines engineering, law, and multidisciplinary team leadership to turn complex obligations into solutions that are workable, defensible, and verifiable.
